Community rules

This community exists to give people hope through honest, real experiences. These rules keep it safe. Content that breaks them will not be published, and repeat or serious violations lead to suspension or a permanent ban.

Never allowed

• Selling or sourcing medication. No offering, requesting, or linking to prescription medicines. No “DM me”.
• Cure claims. Psoriasis has no known cure. “X cured me forever, guaranteed” will not be published; “X cleared my skin and it has stayed clear for two years” is fine — that is your experience.
• Telling others to stop or avoid their medication. Share what you did with your doctor; never instruct others.
• Dangerous instructions. No dosing advice, no DIY phototherapy schedules, no instructions for prescription-strength treatments.
• Miracle products and scams. No MLM supplements, “detox” cures, or promotion of unproven paid treatments.
• Naming doctors or clinics. “My dermatologist” is fine. Naming or identifying an individual practitioner or clinic — especially in a misdiagnosis story — is not.
• Harassment of any kind, including mocking anyone’s skin or choices.
• Anyone under 18 in photos, and any photo posted without the subject’s consent. Zero tolerance.

The experience-vs-fact line

Personal experience framing is the heart of this site. “Sea water helped my plaques” is a personal experience and welcome. “Sea water kills the fungus that causes psoriasis” is a false medical claim and will be rejected. When in doubt, write about what happened to you.

Be kind

Many people arrive here on their worst day. Assume the person reading your words is exhausted, itchy, and discouraged. Write the comment you would have needed.
