Content moderation policy
Last updated: 3 July 2026
Everything is reviewed before publishing
Case stories, story updates, comments, and photos are all reviewed by a human moderator before they appear publicly. We aim to review within 24 hours.
How review works
- An automated scan first checks submissions against a list of dangerous patterns (cure claims, medication-selling, instructions to stop treatment). Matches are highlighted for the moderator — a human always makes the decision.
- A moderator approves the content, asks for changes, or rejects it with a written reason sent to you by email.
- You can edit and resubmit a rejected story at any time.
- Every moderation action is recorded in a permanent audit log.
Reporting
Every story, comment, and post has a report button — you do not need an account to use it. Reports are triaged by the moderation team, and serious reports (medication selling, dangerous advice) are prioritised.
Enforcement ladder
Warning → temporary suspension → permanent ban. We skip straight to a ban for selling medication, scam promotion, images of minors, or serious harassment.
No medication selling
This platform never allows the sale, sourcing, or advertising of prescription medicines, and never accepts sponsorship or affiliate payment from treatment providers or pharmaceutical companies. If you see anything like this, report it — it will be removed and the account banned.
