Medical disclaimer
Last updated: 3 July 2026
These are personal stories, not medical advice. Results vary from person to person. Do not start, stop, or change treatment without speaking to a qualified healthcare professional.
What this site is
Psoriasis People is a collection of personal experiences, educational information, and community support. Every case story describes what happened to one individual person. Psoriasis varies enormously between people — what helped one person may do nothing for you, and what failed for them might be exactly what your doctor recommends.
What this site is not
- It is not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
- It does not replace your doctor, dermatologist, or pharmacist.
- It does not verify the medical accuracy of individual stories, only that they follow our community rules.
- It never claims that anything cures psoriasis. Psoriasis is a chronic condition with no known cure.
Aggregate numbers are not science
Any counts or percentages shown on this site (for example, how many people reported that a treatment helped) are based on self-reported stories from people who chose to share here. They are not a clinical study and may not represent typical outcomes.
Emergencies
This site is not for medical emergencies. If you experience a severe skin reaction, widespread skin pain, fever with a flare, signs of infection, or thoughts of self-harm, seek urgent medical care immediately or contact your local emergency number.
